Biography

Luke A. Wright (b. 1996, Salisbury, MD) is an artist, photographer, and filmmaker based in New York, New York. His work explores memory, time, and everyday life through film, print, and physical media, often employing a documentary approach informed by nostalgia and quiet observation. Wright’s images balance intimacy and restraint, emphasizing the poetic potential of the mundane within a contemporary visual language.

In 2021, their photography was featured in Cultured magazine, and he produced Illuminations, a series examining domestic space and intimacy during the COVID-19 pandemic.

In 2023, his cafe and coffee photography for La Colombe was spotlighted by Fresh Cup magazine in a feature titled How to Capture the Perfect Coffee Photo. That same year, he creative directed and photographed La Colombe’s lifestyle campaign launching its rebranded draft latte cans.
