LC: What are you most excited about in life right now?
K: Currently very excited about my PhD research in ocean dynamic; upcoming in September. I was doing astrophysics, this one is more applied physics based, more mathematical simulation involved; happy!

D: This is cheesy, but it's this coffee shop. This coffee shop is like my extended living room. NoHo generally.

D: Always something Missy Elliott related… or a Doja Cat tune.
LC: Best advice you’ve ever received?
D: Figure it out.
LC: Three things you can’t live without?
D: Coffee, seriously. Tennis. Friends.
LC: What are you most excited about in life right now?
D: NYC, life's good, things are chill, work is hectic, but good, Pride month, we love Pride month, always fun.
LC: How long have you been coming to the cafe?
D: Since the end of 2020. During the pandemic, I moved in across the street.
LC: What do you do for work?
D: I work at the Urban Justice Center as an housing attorney representing tenants that may be evicted.
LC: What’s your coffee order?
L: Oatmilk Draft Latte baby. Just a classic.
LC: What’s your favorite place in NYC?
L: Aside from here? I love specifically the Whitney on a Friday night. You go up. You go from 7pm to 10pm. It's pay as you wish. You make your way to the fourth floor. You go and get your hibiscus cocktail. You go out on the terrace. You put on a lil bit of Sade. It has to be in the evening though because you have to be living Samantha Jones Sex and the City fantasy over the skyline.
LC: What song do you have on-repeat right now?
L: Going back to what I just said, I've been constantly listening to the Best of Sade album for months on repeat... and also I love Go to Town by Doja Cat.
LC: Best advice you’ve ever received?
L: People change their minds and that's okay.
LC: Three things you can’t live without?
L: Beveraginos, good ambiance, and my psychiatrist.
LC: what’s your current obsession?
L: Jerry Seinfeld.
LC: which seinfeld character are you?
L: I'm a hoe for a 90s sitcom. You can always relate a little bit to each character. So okay yes, I've got the baddie of Elaine in me. I've got the humor of Kramer. I will say though, I can honestly relate to Jerry. The character, not the man. Especially his style.
